[EVENT] Kido and Setiawan win Olympic Men's Badminton Doubles gold

Hendra Setiawan and Markis Kido of Indonesia defeated Cai Yun and Fu Haifeng of China in the Badminton Men's Doubles final on August 16.

Cai and Fu comfortably took the first game 21-12 but was tied by the Indonesian pair, who won the second game 21-11. Setiawan and Kido showed their superiority in the third game, taking it 21-16.

This is the first Badminton gold medal for the Indonesian team in this tournament.

This gold medal will be a special gift for the 63th Independence Day of Indonesia.
